senior consultant orthopaedic surgeon. He is a practicing orthopaedic surgeon for last 15 years at Ramlal Kundanlal Orthopedic Hospital and is a consultant in Kailash Hospital, Delhi & NCR. He has contributed many articles for magazines and write ups for various newspapers. He has been widely interviewed on National and regional TV channels. He takes active part in spreading awareness about arthritis and osteoporosis through the activities of AFI. He is the Chairman of Arthritis Foundation of India. AFI is a non-profit making NGO working in the field of bone health mainly osteoporosis (weakness of bones) and arthritis. AFI is member of international osteoporosis foundation. AFI conducts educative camps all over India. They have also launched a programme ‘Invest in your bones’ in collaboration with IOF and WHO. AFI is striving to have a National Program on Bone & Joint health in India.
