About the Book

Comprehensive Study of Organon as its title suggests is an attempt to study Organon of medicine with Hahnemannian thoughts and spirit of mind. In this book author has tried to gather the guidelines of different authors and pioneers in Homeopathy in the most relevant manner.It has been compiled by keeping in view the needs of an aspiring student of homeopathy, intended to supply each and every topic of Organon required for the new comer. The language of the book is very lucid. Many interesting incidences and case studies of pioneers have been added to make reading pleasurable. The theory of chronic diseases and detailed description on miasm has been incorporated in the main text. An essay with collective views of pioneers on Homeopathic Posology has also been included. An attempt to simplify the Introduction to 6th edition of organon by Hahnemann, has been made. Life histories of many stalwarts with their priceless contributions are a part of this book. Special chapters added on history and development of homeopathy in India. Comparative notes have been provided on many topics and chart representation of miasms has also been done. Flowcharts and diagrams are placed for easy comprehension of the subject.

Dr. G. Nagendra Babu, M.D (Hom) is Asst. Professor( Organon of medicine and homeopathic philosophy, microbiology, homeopathic materia medica) and Lecturer in Organon of medicine and homeopathic philosophy, at Sri Sai Ram Homoeopathic Medical College, Chennai,since 2001.He is a renowned homeopath and an efficient teacher. He is M.A. in Sociology and holds post graduate diplomas in public relations and advertising management. He has worked as Principal at Sri Sai Ram Homoeopathic Medical College, Chennai from April 2007 to December 2007, also worked as consultant homeopath at Mashan Homeo pharmacy, state and central govt. authorized pharmacy and Innovative Cure Health Clinic. He has presented many articles in national and international magazines.

"THE COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF ORGANON" written by Dr. G Nagendra Babu – I saw this book and found that mostly all important topics covered by writer in a very nice way and explanations are given in very easy language which will be very useful for understanding Hahnemann’s organon for students , academicians as well as for practitioners of homoeopathy. I would like to specially mention few chapters eg. History of medicine, Posology, Pioneers, logic of homoeopathy etc are explained nicely. In gist I would like to recommend this book to all homoeopaths but specially Students of homoeopathy for better understanding of Homoeopathy and I hope that in coming editions we will see lots of new updated informations.
