Pegasus features prominent England Illustrator Jayne Schofield

A well-designed book is not just a collection of text and pictures, it is a work of art. And illustrations aren’t just the pictures scattered within the texts, but they are the crucial elements of decoration and style that helps in binding a book’s theme and purpose. There are various famous children’s illustrators. One of them is Jayne Schofield. Pegasus has featured this prominent England Illustrator. They have come up with her books. Jayne Schofield was born in Morecambe, by the sea in Lancashire. She gained a degree in Illustration and Design at Staffordshire University and from there she went to work within the gift and fashion industries. She now works as a freelance illustrator/ designer from her studio at the back of her home. She produces her illustrations using a combination of traditional and digital collage techniques and likes to mix textures, type and imagery to create playful and fun art. Her work mainly focuses on board books, novelty and activity books, jigsaws, toys, greetings, apparel, wall art and surface patterns. Pegasus has introduced her four books. They are padded early years board books. The books are Early Learning: Colours & Shapes, First Words, Animals and Numbers. This collection of books by Jayne Schofield is a treat for toddlers as knowing new words have never been this much fun. Coloured and cute pictures, simple and easy language; the book tells about each topic in a very engaging and charming way.
